Student follows the playwright’s script

I AM trying to locate the full-length plays of the Killarney-born playwright Seamus de Faoite as part of my thesis research.

I am anxious to locate plays of his that were staged in Killarney during the 1940s. In particular, I am very interested in his play, The Cardinal and the Crows, which was produced by the Hibernian Players, Killarney, during the 1945 Kerry Drama Festival. It was also produced by the Earlsfort Players, Dublin.

If you have any information regarding where I might find these plays, I would very much like to hear from you.

Mr de Faoite was also a highly regarded film critic with the now defunct Irish Press where he worked as a sub-editor for many years.
