Tourism article did not reflect our views

WE REFER to your article on Glengarriff in Co Cork headlined ‘Where the streets have no gain’ (Irish Examiner, August 5).

We wish to point out that we did not invite any representatives of the Irish Examiner to do the article in question.

A reporter and photographer simply came into the bar for lunch, and we got talking to them. We spoke only about our own personal experience this season.
