Warships left no trace

I AM researching the wartime voyage of a squadron of Swedish warships from Italy to Sweden.

Warships left no trace

The four destroyers and a naval depot ship visited Cork from June 2 until June 15 or 16 in 1940.

The Swedes bought fuel oil from Shell Mexican Oil Co, and the shipping agent AC Horne & Co of Lynch’s Quay was also involved. Do any of your readers have any recollection of the visit? Where were the ships moored? Are there any photographs of the vessels in the harbour?
