SURELY you’ve tied yourself in a (k)not with the editorial headline on the McBrearty scandal, “No Garda should not be above law.” (Irish Examiner, June 11).

Tied up in nots

When untied (ie, remove the double negative), this would seem to mean “Garda should be above law.”
