Growing danger

SOME years ago I was called to an accident where a driver was killed because she drove through a Yield sign obscured by overgrown bushes.

I still see Stop and Yield signs obscured by overgrown shrubs and trees in Irish roads.

I have contacted the relevant government department on a number of occasions about this to no avail. In the meantime motorists go on their unmerry ways peeking around bushes and trees to find their way often at the risk of their lives.
