Lots of waffle from inside the counter

IN the course of their work behind the counter our beloved publicans must listen to a great deal of waffle.

Small wonder then that they are speaking along those lines themselves in respect of the smoking ban.

Publicans, and others, must realise that law and order is not the exclusive responsibility of the gardaí, courts and the Minister for Justice.
