There’s nothing to fear if it’s value for money

Ten years ago, a good quality video cassette recorder set me back a mere £400 at Power City (£100 cheaper than a local equivalent).

A few weeks ago, a six-head Nicam hi-fi VCR at Lidl cost me €99 (including 21% VAT), and a free plastic bag for good measure (I hope Charlie doesn’t mind being shortchanged for 15 cent).
