JOHN ARNOLD’S letter (Irish Examiner July 4) concerning the planning process deserves to be taken on board by Cork County Council.

When you consider the many instances of rapid urban expansion that have occurred without adequate infrastructure and services being put in place at the appropriate time, you would have to agree he has reason to be concerned for his native Bartlemy.
