McCreevy has finally revealed his true political colours

SO Charlie McCreevy, EU competitiveness commissioner, has finally shown his true Thatcherite colours.

And they were shown not just to us Irish, but to the whole of the EU, with his praise for the leadership and policies of Margaret Thatcher in Britain (Irish Examiner, December 20).

Many here at home have been saying for years that McCreevy was a Thatcherite and the third PD in the Ahern cabinet.
