Dying embers

I BELIEVE it is a tradition in Cork to have a bonfire night. Is it also a tradition for the fire brigade to be called out 130 times and to burn sofas, mattresses, polystyrene (all chargeable collectable items) in densely populated areas?

Is it also a tradition that the city council has to clean up the aftermath?
