Lines to remember

THE sad and frustrating developments with regard to the Laffoy Commission come as a stark reminder of the great challenges that face our country. It will take hard work and goodwill to overcome them.

The following dictum comes to mind: "He that will not apply new remedies must expect new evils; for time is the greatest innovator" Francis Bacon (1561-1626). The Government should remember this.
