Funny old game – just ask the Limerick lads

JOHN MURPHY’s report on the Dunloy-Mount Sion game (Irish Examiner, Feb 17) dealt with a controversial refereeing decision which ultimately cost Mount Sion a coveted place in the All-Ireland hurling club final.

We in Adare know exactly how Mount Sion feel now as we were at the receiving end of some equally dubious refereeing decisions against them in a Munster club championship game played in Walsh Park, Waterford, last October.

As the saying goes, what goes round comes round.
