Blair pays a bloody price for Iraqi oil

IN the aftermath of last Thursday’s barbaric terrorist attack on London, many questions are being asked.

One of the most important is, ‘how should the attack affect British foreign policy?’ Britain cannot withdraw from Iraq, we are told, because it would be a victory for terrorism.

However, it does not follow that an immediate end to the occupation of Iraq would represent some kind of victory for Islamic fundamentalism.
