Road complaints going nowhere
While cynicism is often well-founded in this country, there is at least solace to be found in the prospect of impending improvements LUAS, the Port Tunnel, the completed M50 and multiple subsidiary road projects.
Complaining about not being allowed to use O'Connell Street as a thoroughfare of convenience is like an obese child throwing a tantrum when denied chocolate.
A quick visit to any modern city is a must for anyone who still thinks that driving a car to the city centre for work is normal.
If we're so keen to show off our big cars to work mates, surely a photograph would suffice? In the meantime, let us take a reality check, embrace much- needed change and accept some discomfort.
