IN THE light of Tim Allen’s recent conviction I would just like to say that I have had many business dealings with the Allen family over the last 20 years as an agent for an advertising guide and also supplying goods to Ballymaloe House and the craft shop.

I always found the Allens to be the kindest, most courteous people to deal with and most honourable with regard to business affairs.

If all my other customers were as good as Ballymaloe, it would have made my life a lot easier.
