I FEEL compelled to write about the Government’s latest attempt to reduce road fatalities by hiring a private company to install cameras to detect motorists travelling over the speed limit.

I read that over 600 of these cameras are to be set up.

It has been estimated that they will take in over 70 million in the first year. What a money-making opportunity for whoever gets the contract. But who ends up paying for it all? The good, old reliable motorist, of course.
