Bush visit presents us with a security risk

THE presence of George Bush presents a major security risk if or when terrorists decide to strike. Since 9/11, US airspace is patrolled by the most sophisticated war planes.

Since 9/11, US airspace is patrolled by the most sophisticated war planes. So terrorists will target a soft option which, if this visit takes place, is right here in Ireland.

The Taoiseach and his Government have added to this by permitting the use of Shannon airport by US forces.

I urge everyone to make their views known to our government in order to sensibly prevent this visit which could bring catastrophe to our island.
