THE article on Oscar Wilde’s trial (Irish Examiner, April 24) described Edward Carson as a “steely Ulsterman“.

Carson repatriated

While Mr Carson may have been leader of a political party associated with Ulster, he was actually from Dublin, and had been active in hurling and the Irish language in his time at Trinity College.
