Iraqi freedom without war
Believe the US intelligence community's black propaganda section? Are they joking, or what?
After all, this is the same outfit who, prior to the war to win back the family business called Kuwait, said that Iraqi soldiers had thrown babies out of incubators and sent the equipment back to Baghdad.
They even produced a tearful young girl who claimed to have witnessed the infanticide.
Some may remember the small print revelation after the war that the event had never happened, and that the tearful young girl was the daughter of an Iraqi official based in London.
Isn't it ironic, to say the least, that incubators are now on the list of items that Iraq cannot receive under the US/UK-inspired sanctions.
Oh, and by the way, just to recall that the USA supported Iraq in its war against Iran when Iraq used poison gas against the Kurds.
Like most others, I want to see a free and democratic Iraq free from economic as well as political dictatorship. I also want to see an end to the deaths of children in Iraq and elsewhere as a result of the policies of the West.
But please save me from the sanctimonious hypocrites who are pushing for a $100 billion war.
