God won’t accept thanks for murder
Imagine my alarm when Bush swung the vote in Ohio, a key state for any self-respecting American wishing to be elected, using the preachers there to proclaim his gospel of himself as a God-fearing man who upheld family values and the rights of the unborn.
This is the same man who rubber-stamped no fewer than 150 execution warrants for prisoners while governor of Texas, and then proceeded to maim, torture, kidnap and kill thousands of innocent civilians in the ongoing carnage in Iraq.
