Low fares included top-class treatment
Being the only couple with children, we were allowed to board first (which is Ryanair policy) but as we were walking towards the plane, Capt Courtney must have seen that my eldest was getting a little anxious about the flight.
By the time we reached the top of the aircraft steps, he was there to greet the girls and shake their hand. He asked them their names and wrote them down on a piece of paper. He then took them to the door of the cockpit to show them the controls and all the buttons.
During the flight, the captain thanked people for flying with Ryanair, and then greeted the two girls over the intercom. This made them feel very special.
So a huge thank you Ryanair and Capt Courtney. It made a special start to our holiday and the children couldn’t wait to get back to school to tell their friends about the flight and their special treatment. Who says you only get what you pay for with Ryanair?
