I WISH to respond to the article headlined ‘Kinsale programme not reality TV, say locals’ (Irish Examiner, September 1).

I was involved in the programme and tried to get many locals involved. They all refused.

The show was always meant to be a bit of fun. The town looked fabulous and, hopefully, more tourists will visit as a result.
