Deal not honoured
Why then has his department failed to honour the terms of the supervision and substitution agreement by not paying teachers who have already been doing this work since the beginning of the school year?
The first part of this payment should have been included in pay cheques issued on December 18. Not surprisingly, it failed to materialise. Maybe the minister is planning to deliver the payments personally on his next national roadshow. Or should we just add this latest failure to the growing list of failed promises which is this minister’s only ‘achievement’ since assuming office?
