MODEL and former Miss Cork Caroline Crowley is jetting out to the Far East today for a modelling contract with a difference.

As well as strutting her stuff on the catwalks of Shanghai, dubbed the Paris of the East, the blonde from Blackrock will also get a chance to act in China’s version of the teen-soap Home and Away, Shanghai’s version of Fair City and TV commercials. Caroline, aged 20, is learning Chinese before she goes but her voice will be dubbed for Chinese viewers.

She said she was really looking forward to her big break.
