Study in contrasts

NOT so long ago the US Government was doing handsprings over photographs being shown of American dead in Baghdad. It was a violation of the Geneva Conventions, etc.

The US army will not permit any coverage of the arrival of their dead or their funerals. All in marked contrast to the way that the degrading of Saddam Hussein, who also happens to be a prisoner (albeit a very special one), was shown around the world.

If Saddam starts talking, and the subject of Donald Rumsfeld and his involvement starts to get uncomfortable, don’t be surprised that Saddam suddenly suffers a “fatal heart attack.“
