My son needs a friend who understands him

I RECENTLY heard of an organisation called Best Buddies, which was started by one of the Shriver family in the US.

I am borrowing the idea to seek help for my son Alan. He is 32-years-old and lives with me at our home in Inchydoney, near Clonakilty in Co Cork.

He works part-time and commutes on a 50cc scooter. He was assessed in Lota 25 years ago as being moderately retarded. He is normal looking and has an agreeable personality and a pleasing disposition.
