Revealing raids

SINN Féin president Gerry Adams has the gall to refer to “raids that find nothing.” PSNI Chief Constable Hugh Orde, on RTÉ radio, listed no fewer than eight different items found in the west Belfast raids, in Provo locations.

These included targeting information, material regarding paramilitary activity, reports of confidential conversations between the Taoiseach and others (including material relating to White House conversations), personal details on civil servants, police officers, politicians and prison officers.

This material, all taken from Stormont, amounted to hundreds of pages. And as a direct result, many people were forced to move house in order to protect their families and themselves.
