Save the badger from mindless state slaughter

IRELAND is to eradicate 30% of its indigenous badger population for its unproven role in the spread of TB in cattle. Seventy-five exterminators have been employed

The method of capture will be a barbaric wire snare which holds the helpless badger in excruciating pain until dispatched by gunshot, provided it has not agonisingly strangled itself beforehand.

Serious welfare problems arise when nursing females are snared and shot leaving their cubs to die alone underground from starvation.
