Rossport has a lesson for all parties involved

Rossport has a lesson for all parties involved

The country needs gas subject to proper regulation. The right to private property is not absolute, but is subject to the common good. We have planning systems, the courts, and we live in a democracy.

If we want to send out the message that this is not so, well don’t be worried if the major concerns we attract here for jobs are scared away. We will not have it both ways. And it would be no harm if our Government took a hands-on approach in the matter rather then stand by as onlookers. Meanwhile, all concerned might have respect for the same courts, our laws and processes. Otherwise we have anarchy.
