Make better use of peat-burning stations

WE read the recent proposal to use the peat-burning stations in Mayo (Irish Examiner, February 3) and feel they would be of great use instead of building a new incinerator and wasting money.

Make better use of peat-burning stations

We feel we should take this issue further and suggest that people contact the Health Minister Micheál Martin, in this regard.

Our CSPE (civic, social and political education) class has talked this over and we would like to keep Ireland as incinerator-free as possible.
