IT seems our ‘rulers’ have gone legislation and excuse crazy.

Consider the reported response of the Taoiseach to the nursing home debacle, when commenting on the role of the Health Services Executive (HSE) in relation to Leas Cross.

The Taoiseach said “they (HSE) believe they were duped,” and he added that further legislation was required to strengthen the powers of the HSE.
