Dublin-to-Limerick via Nenagh and Roscrea (two major townships) has but two services daily and none on a Sunday. That is a recipe for speedy closure.

The Rosslare Europort service, which joins the main Cork line at Limerick Junction, is in a sorry state two trains daily and none on Sunday.
