Wolf in the flock

SOME of your correspondents in recent times seem to think the Catholic Church “has had its day”, while even a priest was quoted as saying it was “a sinking ship”.

It looks as if the wolf has entered the flock, but it is only the hired hand who wants to turn tail and run.

Thank God there are many good shepherds about whom little is heard.
