The Church in liberal Ireland

I hope Irish Examiner readers noted the worthy letters of Gerard O’Mahony (‘Cardinal under attack as media bids to subvert the church’) and Sean O’Farrell (Kind, gentle and devoted to duty’) in your New Year’s Day issue. These letters gave me great joy.

Why does the media knock our Catholic Church and Cardinal Connell? I believe that our Pope, directed by the Holy Spirit, will not change the ten commandments to suit our liberal society, and that is they way they fight back.
