YOU stated (Irish Examiner, November 8) that all members of Kerry County Council had collected their laptops.

Councillor refuses offer of free laptop

I wish to inform your readers that I have not taken possession of one from the council, nor did I accept the offer of a computer when they were offered free to councillors.

I do not believe that the ratepayers/taxpayers should be funding these items for elected council members.
