Wake-up call for US

The US is at last waking up to the tragedy of the war. Marches and vigils are taking place throughout the US in protest at the appalling waste of young American lives.

While these protests are taking place, is it too much to hope that the participants will take a moment to remember the estimated 30,000 civilians in Iraq who have died as a result of George Bush’s invasion of their country?
