FÁS cuts will hit our education
This is a boost to our morale and our confidence, as we prepare to re-enter the workforce with more developed skills. The education system let us down once before in the overcrowded, under-resourced classrooms of our youth. And now that we have a second chance, we fear that it may be taken from us.
The Government is prepared to erect a metal spike which no-one wants in O’Connell Street, at huge cost.
On the other hand, they are prepared to jeopardise our badly needed educational scheme. They need to get their priorities right.
