Overtaxed motorists driven round the bend
We're told that roads are not being maintained because of lack of funds yet there is shortage of public money to fund inquiries into corrupt politicians and to meet the demands of an overpaid legal system.
We're already the most overtaxed motorists in the world, and now they aim to toll new roads.
One has only to travel the main exit from Cork city towards Dublin and Waterford the Lower Glanmire Road to experience the incompetence and neglect of those responsible for the safe upkeep and maintenance of public roads. We deserve what we get.
