Ryanair’s flying colours

WITH all the Ryanair-related press over the past couple of weeks focusing on both wheelchair surcharges and illegal grants, it is easy to forget what Ryanair has actually done for Ireland.

We should not forget the flag-carrying cartels which created the most expensive mile for mile routes in the world during the 1980s (Ireland to the UK), coupled with our taxes which were required to bail them out every year.
