€10m disaster aid is still far too little
They managed, at the third attempt, to reach €10 million.
I still think it’s derisory... it should be at least €50m. Martin Cullen had no problem blowing that kind of money on the e-voting fiasco.
The Government should also stop dithering and send out the army who could offer a lot to people who are desperate for our help. Would it not be a good idea also if the health service offered to pay some of our experienced nurses their basic salaries for a few weeks so that they, too, could join the mercy mission?
