Ó Cuiv praised for Language Bill stance

I’D LIKE to thank Minister Eamon Ó Cuiv for his courage in sticking up for section 32 in the Language Bill.

Many people feel that the Irish language, whatever about its sentimental appeal, must not stand in the way of economic development.

Section 32 will stop any enthusiast from trying to prevent public officials from doing their duties whenever they use English, which is the medium of the modern global economy.
