Who are the war criminals?

AS YOU reported (Irish Examiner, Jan 23), George W Bush stated in truly ironic form that any Iraqi personnel using weapons of mass destruction on US troops would be prosecuted as war criminals.

I wonder if Mr Bush will now prosecute the pensioners who unleashed the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Will he hound the users of depleted uranium shells that still poison the children of Basra and incarcerate the US developers of nuclear ‘bunker-busters?’
