OUR Oireachtas representatives will soon be starting their summer holidays.

As a result few, if any, of them will be in Leinster House for the next few months. In the meantime the large number of gardaí on duty there and at Government Buildings should be assigned to other duties such as preventing house burglaries, muggings, car theft and crime in general?
