Government hypocrisy over illegal immigrants

IT seems more than a little hypocritical for Irish politicians to be lobbying for the exemption from deportation of illegal Irish immigrants in the US.

Illegal immigrants from around the world are regularly deported from Ireland, often into danger and persecution.

When we remove the plank from our own eye, maybe we will be better qualified to remove the speck from another’s.
