HOW refreshing to listen to the new mid-morning documentaries on RTE Radio 1.

They are light and unusual and are wine to the mind from the paralysis induced by the constant analysis of current affairs from early morning on Radio 1.

I hope RTÉ will retain this feature with further insights into Irish life.
