Respect is the key to a healthier sex life

IT was revealing to read Rónán Mullen’s column entitled ‘Face the facts: sexually transmitted diseases are transmitted by sex’ (Irish Examiner, June 18).

Society, in its struggle to cope with the alarming increase in promiscuity, blindly continues to promote the condom culture.

The illusion of sex being safe through widespread condom usage is clearly just that... an illusion.
