MACRA na Feirme wishes Foynes Harbour every success in its efforts to reopen the railway line that should serve the port.

We ask Transport Minister Seamus Brennan to look favourably on the company's proposals. We also support the retention of the railhead at Waterford port. To concentrate everything in the greater Dublin area is not good for Dublin, or for the rest of the country.
