How low can he go?

IN the aftermath of the local and European elections, it seems that the electorate didn’t believe Justice Minister Michael McDowell’s unsubstantiated allegations against Sinn Féin.

However, unionist politicians and paramilitaries did. They have used these ridiculous claims as an excuse to undermine the Good Friday Agreement and attack Sinn Féin members in the North. You can’t get much lower than that.

Mr McDowell’s allegations were intended to limit Sinn Féin’s vote and boost that of the PDs.
