Our boomtown is far from dishevelled

CATHERINE SHANAHAN’S description of Passage West as ‘dishevelled’ (Irish Examiner, February 18) is both insulting and inaccurate.

Passage is one of the finest towns in the Cork Harbour area, a great mix of the historic and the new.

Virtually every old building is undergoing a sensitive renovation process, while newly completed apartments take in stunning views over the river.
