I STILL miss him, that great actor, singer, raconteur and proud Corkonian, the late Joe Lynch.

We were among the founders of the Radio Éireann players. One day Joe was asked what he thought of the play the night before. “Fine,” he said, “except for Studley’s attempt at a Cork accent.”
